Back Off

The Back Off action allows an engaged model to disengage from melee combat.

Effect

When a model performs the Back Off action: - They can immediately move up to 2 inches (2") directly away from any models they are engaged with. - They must end this movement unengaged. If they cannot move 2" without remaining engaged or becoming engaged with another model, they cannot take this action.

This action is crucial for repositioning a model that is stuck in an unfavorable melee or for allowing a ranged-focused model to get out of close combat so it can shoot on its next turn.
