Get Moving
The Get Moving action allows a model to move across the battlefield. This is a fundamental action for positioning, engaging enemies, or reaching objectives.
Standard Move
A model can move up to 8 inches (8"). This is their base movement allowance.
Hurrying
If a model needs to cover more ground, they can choose to hurry. When hurrying, a model can move up to 12 inches (12").
- Cost: Hurrying costs 1 extra Fatigue.
Engagement Zone
A model cannot enter or pass through the 1-inch zone around an enemy model unless the move ends with it engaged (in base-to-base contact) with that enemy. This rule is key for tactical positioning.
- Blocking: A well-placed model can block a narrow passage, preventing enemies from moving past them without stopping to fight.
- Screening: You can use your models to "screen" or protect more valuable units (like a heavy gunner or sniper) by positioning them in a way that forces enemies to engage them first.
Group Move
When an active model performs a Get Moving action, other friendly models can move with it.
- Requirements:
- Friendly models must be unengaged.
- Friendly models must be within the active model's control area (typically 6").
- Effect: Each eligible friendly model can also perform a
Get Movingaction. They do not have to move in the same direction or distance as the active model.
