Overview
The player who chose this Scenario is the Attacker, and the other is the Defender. In this Scenario, the Attacker attempts to break through the Defender's lines and quickly loot their supplies before withdrawing. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
Orientation
Once Terrain has been set up, the players Roll Off. The winner chooses one Battlefield half to be the Defender Setup Area. An area up to 6" in from the opposite Battlefield edge is the Attacker Setup Area. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
Search Tokens
The Defender places five Search Tokens in the Defender Setup Area. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
They cannot place a Search Token within 6" of another Search Token or the edge of the Battlefield. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
Starting Positions

Deployment map (pg. 54): The Battlefield is 36" wide and 24" deep. The Attacker Setup Area is a band 6" deep running the full depth of the Battlefield along one short edge (left in the diagram). The Defender Setup Area is one full Battlefield half — 18" deep — along the opposite short edge (right in the diagram), separated from the Attacker Setup Area by a neutral no-man's-land in the center. The Fallout-boy badge beside the Attacker Setup Area indicates that the Attacker starts with the Initiative Token. The four numbered Nuka-Cola bottle markers (1–4) at right indicate that the game lasts for 4 Rounds. (The Defender's five Search Tokens are placed within the Defender Setup Area, at least 6" apart and 6" from any Battlefield edge; they are not drawn on this diagram.)
The Attacker then sets up all of their models wholly within the Attacker Setup Area, then takes the Initiative Token. Then, the Defender sets up all of their models wholly within the Defender Setup Area. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
Special Rules
Under Cover of Darkness
The Range of all weapons is equal to their listed value or the Perception (PER) statistic of the model using it, whichever is less. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
These Are Vital Supplies
The Defender may not use the Rummage Action. Whenever the Attacker chooses to Find Caps and Parts as part of a Rummage Action, double the number of Caps and Parts gained. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
Special Ploy: Hidden Cache
The Defender may enact this Ploy when the Attacker uses the Rummage Action on a Search Token. The Attacker gains no Chems, Caps, or Parts from this Rummage Action, and the Search Token is replaced with a Radiation Token no matter the roll made. It still counts as having had the Rummage Action used on it. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
Scenario Details
The game lasts for four Rounds, or until a crew Retreats. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
Scenario Points
At the end of the game, the Attacker scores 2 points for each Search Token they used the Rummage Action on. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
The Defender scores 5 points if the Attackers Retreat, or 2 points for each Search Token that remains on the Battlefield at the end of the game if they do not. The crew that has scored the most points at the end of the game is the winner. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
Story Outcomes
If the Attacker won, then they gain 1 Control in this Location. The Defender loses 1 Control in this Location. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
If the Defender won, then they roll four dice and gain that many Caps, and can make a free Recruit Story Action in the Story Phase after this game. [Battle for Boston pg. 54]
