Initiative and Retreat Token

A single double-sided Token. This is not used on the Battlefield, so it can be of any size and shape. [Rulebook pg. 06]

Harm Tokens

About thirty small Harm Tokens is enough for most games, though it can be useful to have larger denominations of Harm Tokens, showing 2, 3, and 4 Harm. [Rulebook pg. 06]

See Harm for how Harm Tokens are used in play.

Weary / Exhausted Tokens

About thirty small, double-sided Tokens is enough for most games. One side shows when a model is Weary (with 1 Fatigue on it) and the other shows when it is Exhausted (with 2 Fatigue on it). [Rulebook pg. 06]

See Fatigue and Exhaustion for how these Tokens are used in play.

Search Tokens

Eight 30mm diameter Search Tokens is enough for all games. Instead of using cardboard Tokens, some players like to use models of barrels, crates, or other scenery about the right size! [Rulebook pg. 06]

Search Tokens are placed on the Battlefield during setup and can be Rummaged by Unengaged models. If either die shows a 10 during a Rummage Action, the Search Token is replaced with a Radiation Token. See Rummage.

Radiation Tokens

Eight 30mm diameter Radiation Tokens is enough for all games. If using the cardboard Search Tokens found in a Fallout: Factions Starter Set, these double as Radiation Tokens. [Rulebook pg. 06]

See Radiation Tokens for the rules on how Radiation Tokens affect models.

Objective Tokens

Six 20mm diameter Objective Tokens is enough for most games. It is important that these can be easily differentiated from the Search and Radiation Tokens. [Rulebook pg. 06]

Objective Tokens are placed during battlefield setup and contested during play to score Story Outcomes. See Objectives.

Ploy Tokens

Ploy Tokens are used to show how many Ploys a crew has; no player should ever need more than three. These are not used on the Battlefield, so they can be of any design. Some players like to customize these Tokens to match their Faction. [Rulebook pg. 06]

See Ploys for how Ploy Tokens are earned and spent.

Round Tracker Tokens

Five double-sided Round Tracker Tokens to keep track of the Game Rounds. These are not used on the Battlefield, so they can be of any size and shape. [Rulebook pg. 06]

See Game Structure for how rounds work.

Control Area

A model's Control Area is not a physical token — it is the area extending from its Base a number of inches equal to its Charisma. See Control Area.
